Honor Grants

Honor Grants help MPC students in Nursing, Fire Technology, and Emergency Medical Services cover the costs of completing their programs. Students may apply for up to $10,000 per academic year. Funds are provided directly to recipients before the term begins and can be used for program costs and living expenses, such as tuition, fees, housing, childcare, and transportation.

Recipients agree to begin making monthly contributions to the Honor Grant fund one year after graduating from their program. These contributions help support future students.

How to Apply

The application process includes:

1. Submit an application.
2. Complete a free online financial literacy course.
3. Interview with the selection committee, if invited.
4. Meet for a financial consultation to discuss a manageable contribution plan.
5. Sign a pledge agreement.

Spring 2027 applications open October 15, 2026 and close December 13, 2026. Students enrolled in or on the waitlist for an eligible Nursing, Fire Technology, or EMT program may apply. Beginning October 15, visit mpc.awardspring.com and use the codeword HONOR.
